Grace Fellowship Church Chilliwack and Church on 99 is excited to bring to you this year's Spring Conference with Dr Stuart Scott, "Disciples making Disciples.

Discipleship has been defined as the “Act of finding someone who knows less about Jesus than you do and telling them what you know.” It sounds so simple. It seems so easy yet so many Christians today do not know how to do that. The thought of discipling another person terrifies them. They think it is the job of their church leaders to do that while they sit by and watch.

Yet the Bible does not agree with that. Numerous passages tell us that it is the job of every believer to make disciples. Matthew 28:19 says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations.” Mark 16:15 says, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” In Matthew 4:19, Jesus told us very simply: “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

Yet how are we to do this? How are disciples made? Where do we begin this important task? Since Jesus said we are sanctified by God’s Truth (Jn 17:17), the best place to turn to for answers is the Bible which is what we will be doing at this year’s “Disciples Making Disciples Conference” with Dr. Stuart Scott. Dr. Scott teaches in the area of Biblical Counseling at The Master’s University Graduate Program and is the author of several books including The Exemplary Husband, From Pride to Humility, Communication and Conflict Resolution, The Faithful Parent (co-authored with Martha Peace), and 31 ways to be a One Another Christian (co-authored with Andrew Jin).

In his own words, he says that, “This conference will assist you in helping real people, with real problems, with real answers from God’s sufficient Word. It is so encouraging that God gave us all we need to both be saved and how to live a God-glorifying life through the knowledge of Jesus in His Word (2 Tim 3:15-17; 2 Pt 1:3ff).”

The Conference will be held on the campus of Sardis Community Church on the weekend of April 24-25. The address is 45625 Sumas Road in Chilliwack.  More information will come soon but we hope that you can save the date for this wonderful event. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact the Grace Fellowship Church Office at
